Privacy Policy
01Overview and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Andrii Cherniakhov ("AnCh Tech", "we", "us") handles information in the applications, websites, and services released under our developer accounts in the Apple App Store and Google Play, and on anch-tech.com (collectively, the "Services"). We value your privacy and design our products to collect only what an app actually needs to work.
This policy covers our full range of apps, which differ widely in what they do. Some run entirely on your device and collect almost nothing; others use cloud accounts, location, messaging, payments, or AI features. The sections below describe every category of data and every third party we may rely on across our portfolio. Only the parts relevant to the specific app or website you use actually apply to you — an app does not collect a type of data unless it offers the feature that needs it. Where a particular app has its own, more specific privacy disclosure (for example, on its App Store or Google Play listing), that disclosure governs for that app.
02Information You Provide to Us
Depending on the app, you may choose to provide information directly, including:
- Account and contact details — such as an email address, phone number, display name, or profile information, when an app offers sign-up or sign-in;
- Content you create or upload — such as notes, logs, photos, images, audio recordings, messages, or other files you add inside an app;
- Support correspondence — the email address and any information you include when you contact us for support or feedback;
- Purchase information — records of subscriptions and in-app purchases (the payment itself is handled by Apple or Google, not by us).
03Information Collected Automatically
When you use an app or website, some technical information may be collected automatically to keep the product running, secure, and improving:
- Device and system information — such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and region;
- Usage and diagnostic data — such as which features are used, anonymous or pseudonymous usage events, performance metrics, and crash and error reports;
- Identifiers — such as app-instance or installation identifiers, and, in a few apps, advertising or attribution identifiers used to measure installs;
- Approximate location derived from your IP address or, where an app provides location features and you grant permission, more precise device location.
04Device Permissions
Some apps ask for operating-system permissions — such as camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location, or notifications — to deliver a specific feature. Permissions are requested only when needed, and the data they unlock is used to provide that feature. You can grant or revoke each permission at any time in your device settings; revoking a permission may disable the related feature but will not otherwise stop the app from working.
05Local Storage and Cloud Sync
Many of our apps store your data locally on your device and do not transmit it anywhere. Apps that offer accounts, backup, sync, messaging, or collaboration store the relevant data on cloud services (described below) so the feature can work across sessions or devices. Whether your data leaves your device depends on the features you use.
06How We Use Information
We use information only for legitimate, limited purposes:
- to provide, operate, and maintain the Services and the features you request, and to process subscriptions and purchases;
- to authenticate you and keep your account and data secure, and to prevent fraud, abuse, and technical problems;
- to diagnose crashes and errors, monitor performance, and understand usage in aggregate so we can fix issues and improve the product;
- to respond to your support requests, questions, and feedback;
- to send service-related and, where you have opted in, other notifications;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
07Third-Party Services We Use
To build and operate our apps we rely on trusted third-party providers that process data on our behalf or, in some cases, as independent controllers. We use only the providers a given app needs. Depending on the app, these may include:
- Analytics and diagnostics — Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring) and, in a small number of apps, AppsFlyer for install attribution;
- Sign-in and authentication — Google Firebase Authentication, Supabase, Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Facebook (Meta), and phone-number / SMS verification;
- Cloud backend, database, and storage — Google Firebase (Firestore, Storage, Remote Config, App Check), Supabase, Parse, and our own servers;
- Subscriptions and payments — Apple App Store (StoreKit), Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat for subscription management. Card and payment details are handled by Apple or Google and are not collected by us;
- Maps and location — Mapbox and MapLibre / OpenStreetMap (including Nominatim geocoding) in apps with maps or location features;
- AI features — OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), and ElevenLabs (see "AI Features" below);
- Push notifications — Firebase Cloud Messaging and the Apple Push Notification service.
08Third-Party Privacy Policies
These providers process data under their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review the policies of any service relevant to the app you use. Key examples include Google / Firebase (https://policies.google.com/privacy), Apple (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/), Meta / Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/policy.php), Supabase (https://supabase.com/privacy), RevenueCat (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy), AppsFlyer (https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy/), Mapbox (https://www.mapbox.com/legal/privacy), OpenAI (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy), Anthropic (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy), and ElevenLabs (https://elevenlabs.io/privacy-policy).
09AI Features
Some apps include AI-powered features. When you use such a feature, the content needed to fulfil your request — which may include text you write, images or photos you provide, or audio you record — is sent to an AI provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or ElevenLabs) to generate a response, transcription, or synthesized voice. We send only what is necessary for the feature and do not use this content to train our own models. AI providers process the content under their own policies; under our standard configuration this content is not used by them to train their models, though some providers may retain it briefly for abuse prevention. Please do not submit sensitive personal information you would not want processed by a third-party AI service, and treat AI-generated output as informational rather than professional advice.
10How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described here:
- with the third-party service providers listed above, so they can perform their functions on our behalf;
- when you direct us to, or when you use a feature (such as messaging) that inherently shares your content with other users;
- to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in how your information is handled.
11International Data Transfers
We and our providers may store and process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards offered by these providers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your information consistent with applicable law.
12Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the Services, and to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. Data stored only on your device is retained until you delete it or remove the app. Account and cloud data is retained while your account is active and is deleted, or anonymized, within a reasonable period after you delete your account or request deletion, unless we must keep it longer by law.
13Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights (including rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act). Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no "sale" to opt out of. To exercise any right, email [email protected] and we will respond within the timeframe required by law. You may also manage much of your data directly — for example by editing or deleting content in the app, adjusting device permissions, or deleting your account.
14Account and Data Deletion
If an app provides an account, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app where that option is offered, or by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete the data, except for any records we are legally required to retain.
15Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — such as encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of a security issue affecting the Services, please let us know as soon as possible.
16Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website, anch-tech.com, may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. A cookie is a small piece of information a website stores in your browser and reads on return visits. You can set your browser to refuse cookies; some site features may then work differently. Our mobile apps generally do not use browser cookies but may use comparable on-device storage and identifiers as described above.
17Questions About Data Handling
If you have any question about this Privacy Policy, or about how your data is collected, used, shared, or stored when you use our Services, please email [email protected] with the subject line "Data handling".
18Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy. Please check back periodically to stay informed.
